Yaroslav's specialty is a unique ability to improvise and a naturally good ear, which allows the musician to instantly reproduce on the bandura and piano the musical pieces he just heard. His author's music is sincere, subtle, soulful, with a Ukrainian flavor, distinguished by a special melodism and sensuality.

In his works, Yaroslav Dzhus combines folk creativity and modern art, improvises and synthesizes well-known folk works with modern rhythms. He writes music for short films and video poems ("Tymka", "No less than 50 kg", "To Heaven", "Vanya", "My Heart").

In the spring of 2016, he joined the patriotic flash mob #ILoveMyCountry, publishing a video message in which he told why he loves Ukraine.
