Dyachenko Oleksandr Mykolayovych

Oleksandr Mykolaiovych Dyachenko (born 14 October 1954 in Horlivka, Donetsk region) is a Ukrainian singer (tenor), People's Artist of Ukraine (1996). Laureate of the Mykola Lysenko Vocal Competition (Odesa, 1984). Diploma winner of the M. Glinka Competition (Yerevan, 1984).

Biography.
He studied at the Kyiv Conservatory (1978-1983) in the class of professor V. Tymokhin.

Since 1983 - soloist (tenor) of the Kyiv Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Since 1999, he has been a lecturer at the Department of Solo Singing at the NMAU, since 2012 - Head of the Department of Solo Singing, since 2017 - Head of the Department of Opera Singing at the NMAU. Among Oleksandr Dyachenko's graduates is the Russian singer Bogdan Volkov.

He performed opera roles: Fool (Boris Godunov by M. Mussorgsky), Lensky (Eugene Onegin by P. Tchaikovsky), Alfred (La Traviata by G. Verdi). He performs tenor parts in "Requiem" by G. Verdi and W. A. Mozart, in "Bells" by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

He has toured abroad - in Poland, Hungary, Spain, France, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Russia, Holland...
