Biography.
In 1931, he graduated from the Kharkiv Music and Drama Institute, in 1936 - postgraduate studies at the Institute and the Kyiv Conservatory (with Pylyp Kozytskyi, Semen Bohatyrev and Lev Revutskyi).
He was a member of the CPSU (since 1944).
