Mykola Dovhalev - born 18 December 1961, soloist-vocalist of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Philharmonic, baritone, Honoured Artist of Ukraine (2008).
Biography.
Graduated from the Ternopil Music College (1981). Since 1981 - a teacher of the children's music school in Lanivets, Ternopil region.
Since 1986, he has been working in the Khmelnytskyi Regional Philharmonic, first as an artist of the song and dance ensemble "Podolyanka" (now "Cossacks of Podillia").
Since 2001 - soloist-vocalist of the concert group Alfresco, the organ hall, chamber and symphony orchestras.
He represented Khmelnytskyi region in creative reports in Kyiv (1998, 1999, 2001, 2003), took part in concerts of the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Ukraine as a member of the Alfresco Concert Band.
In 2002, he performed a classical programme in the Presidential Salon of the Senate at an official meeting of French statesmen.
Repertoire
From classical arias to Ukrainian folk and contemporary songs
Author of the project poetry of the great Kobzar set to music by Pink Floyd to mark the 155th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's return to Ukraine. The artist sings and recites Taras Shevchenko's poems. The concert was held for the first time on the 201st anniversary of the Kobzar's birthday at Khmelnytsky National University.
Awards.
"Honoured Artist of Ukraine" - for a significant personal contribution to the socio-economic and cultural development of the Ukrainian state, significant labour achievements and on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of Ukraine's independence (2008).
Laureate of the Second Pop Song Festival "Song Vernissage" (1988, Kyiv).
Laureate of the Regional Prize named after V. Zaremba.
He was awarded diplomas of the Khmelnytsky Regional Council and Administration, the Department of Culture, and the Certificate of Honour and the award of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine "For Achievements in the Development of Culture and Arts" (2005),
