Dolya Oleksandr Serhiyovych

1979

Ukrainian pop singer (dramatic baritone), Honored Artist of Ukraine, author and composer, winner and diploma winner of many national and international song competitions and festivals.

Biography.

In 1993, after returning from the city of Dnipropetrovs'k, he graduated from a music school, majoring in folk instruments, accordion (Iziaslav, Khmelnytsky region). In 1995, he graduated from the Pedagogical Lyceum with a degree in Ukrainian philology (Slavuta, Khmelnytskyi region). In 1995-2000, he studied at the Faculty of Directing and Choreography of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, directed pop and public events.

Since 2012, he has been an assistant to the rector of the Ivan Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema and Television.
Creative career.

He began his professional career in 1995 with the All-Ukrainian Festival "Song Vernissage". He is a diploma winner of national and international song competitions and festivals, namely: "Chervona Ruta", "Maybutnya", "Pearls of the Season", "Song of the Year" and "Our Song" (Ukraine), "Slavic Bazaar", "Without Borders" (Italy) and others. Participant of the "Star of the Patriot of Ukraine", "Golden Feather", "Flagships of Education and Science of Ukraine" ceremonies, etc. Every year he takes an active part in various international events dedicated to the Days of Culture of Ukraine in different countries of the world. In 2010-2011, together with Honored Artist of Ukraine Oksana Khozhai, he organized an all-Ukrainian charity tour in support of orphans called "Songs of the Soul". In 2012, together with Ukrainian singer Tonia Matvienko, they toured Germany as part of the Days of Ukrainian Culture. In 2013-2014, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, as part of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko's birth, they held a charity tour with the Music of the Homeland program in support of the Ukrainian diaspora in Europe. In 2015-16, a tour "With Ukraine in the Heart" was held in support of Ukrainians abroad and the Ukrainian army in Europe. Every year he actively cooperates with the Ukrainian diaspora and holds charity concerts in support of Ukrainians abroad.

He performs his own works, works of Ukrainian pop classics (V. Ivasyuk, M. Mozgovyi, N. Yaremchuk, Y. Rybchynskyi, O. Zlotnyk, A. Demydenko, O. Vratariov, H. Tatarchenko, and others) and Ukrainian folk songs, including: "Mama, Don't Cry..." (dedicated to the mothers of the Heroes of the Maidan), "Orchestra of Nature," "Music of the Homeland," "Time Goes By," "Maria," "Krai," "Chervona Ruta," "Ukraine," "Oh Whose Horse Is That," "Smereka," and others. In total, her repertoire includes about 50 songs. He also sings in Polish, Romanian, and Russian.

Since 2006, he has been a member of the creative union "Association of Variety Artists of Ukraine" (ADEMU).
