Franz Dolista (b. 1842, Předbořice - d. 30 April 1896, Syannok) was a Ukrainian conductor of Czech origin.
Biography.
He was born in 1842 in Předbořice (Czech Republic). He received his musical education in Prague.
In 1883-1896 he worked at the Russian National Theatre in Lviv. He died on 30 April 1896 in Sianka (now Poland).
Creativity
For the first time on the Ukrainian stage of Galicia, he participated in the production of Mykola Lysenko's operas "Christmas Night" (1890) and "The Drowned" (1891), Porfirij Bazhansky's "Olesia" (1883) and "Mariika" (1891), Sidor Vorobkevych's operetta "Young Lady from Bosnia" (1883), Petro Nishchynsky's "Evenings" (1887).
