Yevhen Oleksiyovych Dergunov (June 15, 1936, Orsha - January 22, 2001, Kyiv, Ukraine) was a Soviet and Ukrainian composer, jazz pianist, arranger, ensemble and orchestra leader.
In 1984, he graduated from the historical and theoretical department of the R. M. Glier Kyiv State Music College. He has been performing since 1958. He worked in the Ukrainian Republican Variety Theatre, played in restaurant orchestras and cinemas. He performed with the ensemble in the Mriya cafe (1963). Artist of the orchestras of the Kyiv State Circus (1965-1966), Kyiv Music Hall (1973, 1977). Musical director of the Dnipro Jazz Orchestra (1966-1967), the Green Light Pop Orchestra (Cherkasy, 1968). From 1974 to 1975 - pianist-accompanist of the Donetsk Philharmonic. In 1978-1986 - artist of the Kyiv Association of Musical Ensembles. Since 1982 he has been a lecturer at the Department of Variety and Jazz Performance at the R.M. Glier Kyiv State Music College, where in 1989 he founded the Jazz Ensemble of Teachers, with which he participated in the festivals in Ruse (Bulgaria, 1989), "Autumn Jazz Marathon" (Kyiv, 1991, 1992, 1994), "Cherkasy Jazz Days" (1990, 1992),
"Jazz Fest" (Sumy, 1994, 1995), concerts in Germany (Karlsruhe, 1992; Darmstadt, Frankfurt am Main, 1993), the USA (199?). He has played with guitarist Bob Kerwins (Canada, 1991), trombonist Christoph Wackerbard (Germany, 1993), drummer Johnny Blauers (USA, 1993), trumpeters Jean Lou Lonion (France, 1989), Larry Baskett (USA, 1992) and Peter Schwalm (Switzerland, 1993).

In 1974, a concert film "Tamara Miansarova Sings" was filmed in Kyiv. The musical accompaniment was provided by an ensemble conducted by Yevhen Dergunov.
Yevhen Dergunov's latest project is the vocal jazz quintet "Beauty Band", which he supported at the beginning.
