Denisenko Vladimir Ivanovich

Volodymyr Ivanovych Denysenko (born 25 May 1931, Chorzów) is a Polish and Ukrainian singer (bass-baritone).
Biography.
Volodymyr Denysenko was born on 25 May 1931 in Chorzów, Poland. He studied singing privately and at the opera studio of E. Merunowicz in Wroclaw, where he began his opera and singing career. In 1952-1960, he was a soloist at the Silesian Opera in Bytom, in 1960-1965 - at the Wroclaw Opera, and in 1965-1985 - at the Bolshoi Theatre in Warsaw. Since 1985, he has performed as a touring singer in many countries around the world.

Roles:

Boris Godunov (Boris Godunov, by M. Musogorsky);
Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro by W. Mozart);
Mephistopheles (Faust by Gounod) and others.
His concert repertoire included Ukrainian folk songs (he performed with the Warsaw Cranes Choir) and his own compositions based on poems by Ukrainian poets.

He took part in festivals of Ukrainian art in Poland.
