Demin Sergey Petrovich

Serhii Petrovych Dyomin (born 5 July 1956, Taganrog) is a Ukrainian singer (baritone) and teacher, People's Artist of Ukraine (2016). Member of the National All-Ukrainian Music Union (1990).
Biography
1977 - graduated from the Kirovohrad Pedagogical Institute (V. Volovenko's conducting class, V. Solovyov's violin class).

1977-1981 - worked as a teacher.

1981-1988 - an instrumentalist of the "Kontakt" ensemble of the Kirovohrad Philharmonic.

1987-2002 - artistic director, and since 2003 - soloist of the Philharmonic.

In 2002, together with his brother Kostiantyn, Serhii Petrovych received a first degree diploma at the International Festival of Family Creativity "Melody of Two Hearts".

Since 2002, he has been an associate professor of the Department of Choral Conducting and Methods of Music Education at Kirovohrad Pedagogical University (now the Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University), and later - Head of the Voice and Solo Singing Section of the Department of Vocal and Choral Disciplines and Methods of Music Education.

He gave solo concerts in Kyiv (2001), Asmara (Eritrea, 2003), and Kropyvnytskyi (2004).

His repertoire includes songs by O. Alyabiev, O. Bilash, P. Bulakhov, V. Vermenich, I. Dunayevsky, V. Lipatov, P. Mayboroda, S. Sabadash, and others.

He is a co-author of the booklet "Kirovohrad Regional Philharmonic" (1999).
