Ukrainian composer and conductor. Honored Artist of Ukraine.
Biography.
Graduated from the Lviv Conservatory in 1988.
Conductor of the Lviv Opera House, choirmaster and conductor of the Galician Chamber Choir (Lviv). In 1989 he founded and led the Galician Symphony Orchestra, and since 1993 he has been leading the Galician Revue Ensemble.
In 1987, Rostyslav Demchyshyn wrote a mourning hymn for pets. In 2004, he wrote two hymns - for "D" and "A" students.
He has been a member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine since 2007.
His wife is Lesia Borovets, Honored Artist of Ukraine (since 1996).
