Danyliuk Vasyl Stepanovych

Vasyl Stepanovych Danyliuk (25 August 1970, Roztoky village, Putyla district, Chernivtsi region) is a Ukrainian singer, Honoured Artist of Ukraine (2008), People's Artist of Ukraine (2021), and an artist of the Chernivtsi Regional Philharmonic.
Biography.
Born on 25.08.1970 in Roztoky village, Putyla district, Chernivtsi region. Graduated from Roztoky High School (1985), S. Vorobkevych Music College in Chernivtsi (1989), served in the Soviet Army, worked as a soloist in the variety band "Bahriana Zirka". In 1991, he began his career as a music teacher at the Putyla Children's Music School, in 1993 he became an artist of the orchestra of the Chernivtsi Regional Association of Music Ensembles, and in 1995 he became a soloist of the Chernivtsi Regional Philharmonic, where he worked under the direction of People's Artist of Ukraine Levko Dutkovskyi. In 2006, he entered the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, Department of Music, graduating in 2009. In November 2008, he returned to the Chernivtsi Philharmonic as a solo vocalist and director of the pop group. On 30.03.2009, he was admitted to the creative union "Association of Variety Artists of Ukraine".

Creative activity
During his military service, he worked as a soloist of the variety group "Bagryana Zirka", which was led by the composer, now Honoured Artist of Ukraine V. Domshynskyi, in 1991 - as a soloist of the group "Zgarda", where the leading soloist was People's Artist of Ukraine Ivan Popovych. He works creatively with composers, participates in concert activities. In 1992, he became a laureate of the International Hutsul Festival (1st prize) and the International Song Festival "Dolya" (2nd prize). In 1993, at the International Song Festival "Golden Trembitas" (Ternopil), he presented the work of Myroslav Skoryk "Draw Me a Night". In 1998, at the All-Ukrainian Festival "Song Vernissage", Levko Dutkovsky's rock cantata "Virgin Mary" won the Grand Prix, with Vasyl Danyliuk as one of the performers.

Artistic performances
In January 2003, a recital "Vasyl's for Vasyl" took place on the stage of the Olha Kobylianska Music and Drama Theatre in Chernivtsi. In 2003, Vasyl Mykhailiuk's song "Annychka" performed by Vasyl Danyliuk was included in the soundtrack of the film "One Man in a Field" directed by Hennadiy Virsta. In 2005, the Chernivtsi State Television and Radio Company created a musical film about Vasyl Danyliuk called "Roztoky" (directed by Antonina Fantukh), which was seen in 62 countries and broadcast by the UTR TV channel in Kyiv. In February 2008, he gave his second solo concert "Stranger" in Chernivtsi (produced by Honoured Artist of Ukraine Semen Tsidelkovsky), accompanied by the Metronome band.
