Borys Danylevskyi (22.04.1900-29.07.1938) was a professional bandura player and bass player. He graduated from the Kyiv Institute of Music and Drama as a brass band conductor in 1933. Arbitrarily arrested on 22.04.1938 "for participation in a counter-revolutionary organisation, systematic counter-revolutionary agitation". On 29.07.38, he was sentenced by the Special Troika of the NKVD under Articles 54-2, 54-11 of the Criminal Code of the Ukrainian SSR to the "highest measure of social protection" - execution. His family was told that he died in 1943.
Danylevsky completed his studies at the Mykola Lysenko Kyiv Music and Drama Institute as a conductor of brass bands in 1933. He played in the Kyiv Bandura Chapel. In 1933, he became the artistic director of the group. First arrested in 1934. 22.04.1938 he was arrested again. He was shot on 29.07.1938. His family was told that he died in 1943.
