Chukh Alexander Vasilyevich

Oleksandr Vasylovych Chukh (born 29 November 1959) is a Ukrainian musician, singer, soloist of the folklore ensemble of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine "Veseli Muzyky". Honoured Artist of Ukraine (2000).
He graduated from the Lviv Music and Pedagogical College and the Kyiv Pedagogical Institute.

Since 1981 he has been performing in the folklore ensemble of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine "Veseli Muzyky" (double bass, singing).

He has toured England, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Holland, the USA, France, Scotland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Finland, Israel, Greece, and Germany.

In 1995, the ensemble performed on one of the most prestigious stages in Europe - the Munich Philharmonic.

Awards
In 2000, he was awarded the title of Honoured Artist of Ukraine.
