Yevhen Dmytrovych Chornokondratenko (born 22 April 1954, Kremenchuk) is a Ukrainian musician and conductor. Honoured Artist of Ukraine (1996).
Biography.
He graduated from the Mykola Lysenko Poltava Music College, balalaika class, and the Kyiv Conservatory.
Until 1988, he was the director and conductor of the Native Tunes folk instruments ensemble.
In 1988, together with Vadym Chornokondratenko, he created the folk instruments ensemble "Divohrai". He headed it until 2000.
In 1996, he was awarded the title of Honoured Artist of Ukraine.
Together with the ensemble, he toured Russia, Denmark, and Switzerland.
