Chastii Mykola Andriyovych

1905-1962

Bass singer. People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, winner of the USSR State Prize in 1950.

He received his musical education at the Kharkiv Music and Drama Institute.

He was a soloist at opera and ballet theaters in Kharkiv (1930-1935), Kyiv (1935-1941 and 1944-1958), and Tbilisi (1941-1944).

In addition to the roles of Vybornyi (Natalka Poltavka by M. Lysenko), Kryvonis and Pototskyi (Bohdan Khmelnytskyi by K. Dankevych), Tsangala (Daisy by Z. Paliyashvili), etc.
