Borushenko-Moro Larysa Pavlivna

Larysa Pavlivna Borushenko-Moro (born 18 June 1944, Katowice, now Poland) is a Ukrainian pianist in the diaspora. Daughter of Pavlo Borushenko, sister of Oksana Borushenko. Winner of the National Piano Competition (Bahia, Brazil, 1966). She lives in Brazil.

Biography.
Her father is Pavlo Borushenko, a native of the town of Barysh, now a village in Buchach district, Ternopil region, Ukraine.

In 1964, she graduated from the Library Science Department of the University of Paraná and at the same time from the Paraná School of Music and Fine Arts (Curitiba, Brazil; 1965, teacher R. Frank). She improved her skills in the USA and Austria. She studied at the courses of A. Estrella, D. Lasimone, J. Kline, G. Alimond.

Since 1969, she has been an assistant professor of music at the Conservatory of Music in Velas Artes, Paraná.

Participant of competitions in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. She is a soloist of the Symphony Orchestra of the Federal University of Paraná and the Antiqua de Curitiba Orchestra.

Solo concerts in cities of Brazil (since 1964), the USA (since 1968), Canada (since 1987), Germany (since 1993), Ukraine (since 1994). He performs works by E. Villa-Lobos, E. Krieger, E. Nazareth, B. Bartok, S. Prokofiev, V. Barvinsky, M. Lysenko, A. Kos-Anatolsky, M. Kolessa, J.S. Bach, F. Chopin, and J. Haydn. Borushenko's playing is characterised by a sonorous, emphatic and convex presentation, bright accentuation, and optimistic sound.
