Bilotserkivskyi Valentin Mykhailovych

Ukrainian violinist.

Childhood

Valentin Mykhailovych was born in Kharkiv. Born into a family of violinists, his choice was obvious — to become a violinist. He first picked up the violin at the age of five. This small violin, as the musicians say - the eighth part - is kept in the house and now in a place of honor.
Teaching

V. Bilotserkivskyi graduated from ten classes of a music school, and then the Kharkiv Institute of Arts (now the Ivan Kotlyarevskyi Kharkiv National University of Arts) — the class of Professor A. Leshchynskyi. After graduating from the institute, he served in the ensemble of the Kyiv Military District. As part of a quartet and as a soloist of an orchestra, they visited all of Ukraine with concerts. In February 1973, V. Bilotserkivskyi, as part of the quartet of the Kyiv Military District, became the winner of the All-Ukrainian competition named after Mykola Lysenko in Kyiv. After his discharge from the army, V. Bilotserkivskyi studied at the graduate school of the Gnesiny Moscow Academy of Music from 1972 to 1974.
Pedagogical activity

From 1973 to 2000, Valentin Bilotserkivskyi worked as a teacher at the Ivan Kotlyarevskyi Kharkiv University of Arts, and from 1993 to the present day at the Kharkiv Pedagogical University named after H. S. Skovoroda. He not only teaches violin and ensemble violin classes, but also lectures on the history and methods of teaching stringed instruments.

During his work at Kharkiv Pedagogical University named after H.S. Skovoroda, he trained 7 winners of the "Fortissimo" international competition.
Research activities

V. Bilotserkivskyi is the author of a number of scientific works: a study guide from a series of lectures on the history and methods of teaching stringed instruments (1972), the monograph "Psychological prerequisites of playing in an ensemble, scientific articles on the problems of ensemble performance in special music magazines, articles and essays on history of playing stringed instruments in Kharkiv.
Education of children

V. Bilotserkivskyi also teaches at Kharkiv Children's Music School No. 13 named after Mykola Kolyada (from 1973 to the present, since its foundation). He gives lectures and gives practical lessons on the violin with a chamber ensemble, a school violin ensemble and a symphony orchestra. He also has numerous performances, concerts and tours. For many years, the Children's Music School No. 13 has been cooperating with the Korolenko Gymnasium for blind children. Valentyn Mykhailovych took an active part in teaching children with vision problems. His training program for piano tuning was approved by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. This course has been taught by V. Bilotserkivskyi for many years.
Ensemble of violinists "Inspiration"

From 1998 to 2013, V. Bilotserkivskyi also worked at the Kharkiv Humanitarian University "National Ukrainian Academy", where he created and managed the folk ensemble of violinists "Inspiration". This ensemble is a laureate and winner of various music festivals and competitions. Among them are such national competitions as "Student Spring" and "Colors of Autumn", international music competitions "Lolivia", "Fortissimo", "Flower of Hope", as well as the festival of children's and youth creativity in Turkey (Kemer), the festival of Ukrainian and Polish music named after Karol Szymanovsky.
Activities during the years of work at the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University

During the years of work at the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H.S. Skovorody at the department of musical and instrumental training, as a senior teacher, trained more than ten laureates and diploma holders of the "Fortissimo" international festival-competition, participated in the jury of national and international competitions, organized master classes in Ukraine and abroad, performed at scientific and practical conferences with reports and open lessons, prepared a number of scientific articles on the problems of learning and performing skills, as well as on the history of performance on stringed and bowed instruments.

During the reporting period from 2013 to 2015, the following measures were implemented: 1. Educational and methodical work. The study load was carried out according to the working schedule. Methodical work — participation in methodical seminars on career guidance work and certification of students. Conducting an open lesson on the topic "Working on strokes in classical musical works" with a student of my class Botsman Yulia.

Also, the "Program on music making and improvisation" was developed for students of the department of musical and instrumental training of KhNPU named after R. S. Skovorody.

Participation in the International scientific and methodical conference "Musical educational activity of the teacher in the system of higherof music education" with the report "Methodical and executive views of professor A. A. Lishchinsky" (March 2015). Participation in the "Fortissimo" International Competition as part of the jury and in the preparation of the student L. Avetisyan for participation in the competition, who received the Diploma of the First Degree (March 2015)

3. Concert and educational work. Concert performances with the People's Art Collective and the violin ensemble "Vdohnovenie": a concert at the creative club "Hostyna na Dvoryanska" in the "Dynasty" project (October 2014); a concert at the Beit Dan International Jewish Cultural Center (February 2015); Easter concert at the House of Organ and Chamber Music (April 2015); a concert at the Beit Dan International Jewish Cultural Center (October 25); concert at the Artist's House (November 29); a concert in memory of Frederic Chopin at the "Mir" Lyceum (December 18); the concert is dedicated to the meeting of spring at the Beit Dan International Jewish Cultural Center (February 28). Planned concert performances with the People's Art Collective and Violin Ensemble "Inspiration": a concert-lecture at the "Mir" Lyceum; "With Love in the Heart" dedicated to Easter at the House of Organ and Chamber Music (April 21);

4. Organizational work. Preparation of modules for the final attestation of the main musical instrument, participation in the work of the organizing committee of the "Fortissimo" International Competition, preparation of a student ensemble to participate in the "Rondo" ensemble festival, which received a First Degree Diploma (February 2015). Attending Khatob performances and Kharkiv Philharmonic concerts with students.
Awards

In 2010, the ensemble won the Grand Prix and a special prize of the S-tet TV channel at the First Kharkiv Television Festival of Children's and Youth Creativity "Starry Dreams". The ensemble gave two full concerts in the Philharmonic Hall and in the House of Organ and Chamber Music in Kharkiv. Leading soloists-instrumentalists and vocalists also performed together with the ensemble. Most of these events were created specifically for the "Inspiration" violinist ensemble by its director V. Bilotserkivskyi.

In 2004, the ensemble was awarded the title "Exemplary". The ensemble also released its first CD.

In 2008, V. Bilotserkivskyi was awarded the Medal of Honor "For the Development of Education in Ukraine" with a personal watch from the mayor of Kharkiv.

In 2009, the ensemble was awarded the title "People's Ensemble". And in 2013, he celebrated his fifteenth anniversary.
