Mykola Trokhymovych Bilokonev (Bilokonev) (*1937) is a Ukrainian domra-kobza player, conductor, and teacher.
Biography.
He was born in 1937 in the city of Luhansk. In 1956 he graduated from the Luhansk Music College, class of Heorhiy Avanesov, in 1961 - from the Kyiv Conservatory, in 1961-1965 he took postgraduate studies in the class of Mark Helis.
He has been working at the Kyiv Music Academy since 1965, as an associate professor (1980), acting professor (1984).
Laureate of the All-Ukrainian, All-Union and International competitions (1962, Helsinki, Eighth World Festival).
In 1960-1965, he led the orchestra of folk instruments at the R. Glière Kyiv Music School, and later - at the National Music Academy of Ukraine (1968-1970 and 1975-1989).
As of May 2015, he is the Dean of the Faculty of Folk Instruments of the National Music Academy, Professor.
Author of a number of professional programmes for music schools and conservatories (1978-1995).
