Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Bezai (9 September 1992, Znamianka) is a Ukrainian concert singer, baritone. He is a laureate of all-Ukrainian and international competitions. Lecturer of the cycle commission "Singing", soloist of the Kirovohrad Regional Philharmonic (2016-2021), soloist of the city professional brass band of Kropyvnytskyi.
He was born on 9 September 1992 in Znamianka, Kirovohrad region, Ukraine. His parents are Oleksandr Bezai Sr. (musician) and Valentyna Bezai (primary school teacher). He graduated from the secondary school named after Taras Shevchenko (Znamianka), and at the same time received musical education at the Centre for Children and Youth Creativity (Znamianka), and then at the Mykola Lysenko Znamianka Music School, class of Alla Humenenko.
In 2007, he became a student of the Kirovohrad Music College, Department of Singing, class of the teacher, Honoured Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Stratyev.
In 2011, he entered the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy, Vocal and Conducting Faculty, Department of Solo Singing, class of Professor, People's Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Vostriakov. During the years of study, he became a laureate of All-Ukrainian and International competitions.
In 2015, he started working at the Kirovohrad Music School (now the College) as a teacher of the cycle commission "Singing". Since 2016, he has been a soloist of the Kirovohrad Regional Philharmonic. In 2017, he became a soloist of the City Professional Brass Band.
In 2017, he presented solo programmes "Solo Classic" and "20 Shades of Classics" accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra of the Kirovohrad Music College (artistic director and conductor - Honoured Artist of Ukraine Larysa Holiusova) and the Concertino Chamber Orchestra of the Kirovohrad Regional Philharmonic (artistic director - Honoured Artist of Ukraine Natalia Khilobokova).
He has worked and continues to cooperate with many orchestras of the city and region, namely: Symphony Orchestra of Kirovograd Music College (artistic director and conductor - Honoured Artist of Ukraine Larysa Goliusova), Chamber Orchestra "Concertino" of Kirovograd Regional Philharmonic (artistic director - Honoured Artist of Ukraine Natalia Khilobokova), City Professional Brass Orchestra (artistic director and conductor - Bohdan Maksymenko), Ensemble of Folk and Contemporary Music "Yelisavet-Retro" of the Kirovohrad Regional Philharmonic (artistic director Olena Furmanova), Chamber Orchestra of the Kirovohrad Music College (artistic director Natalia Khilobokova, Honoured Artist of Ukraine), Brass Orchestra of the Kirovohrad Music College (director Volodymyr Chernyshenko), Orchestra of Folk Instruments of the Kirovohrad Music College (director Bohdan Maksymenko).
Honorary member of the jury of the International Competition "Let's Unite Children with Art" (Kropyvnytskyi), member of the jury of the festival-competition of vocal art "Voice of the Heart" (Kropyvnytskyi).
