Honoured Artist of Ukraine (2020).
Since 2003, he has been conductor of the Lviv National Opera. He has staged the opera Don Giovanni by W. A. Mozart, as well as ballets Don Quixote by L. Minkus, Corsair by A. Adan, The Last Night of Garcia Lorca by A. Sirenko, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by B. Pavlovsky, Scheherazade by N. Rimsky-Korsakov.
Since 2005, he has been the chief conductor and artistic director of the Opera Studio of the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy. The Opera Studio under the direction of Yurii Bervetskyi was enriched by opera productions of Rachmaninoff's Aleko, Donizetti's The Love Drink, G. Pergolesi's The Maidservant, Don Giovanni, and Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro. The orchestra also performed masterpieces of the cantata-oratorio genre - "Stabat Mater" by A. Dvořák and "Ellias" by F. Mendelssohn. His creative achievement was the performance of all violin concertos by M. Skoryk by the orchestra under the direction of Yuriy Bervetskyi.
He collaborates with such orchestras and ensembles as the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv National Philharmonic, INSO-Lviv, Lviv Chamber Orchestra "Academy", "Virtuosi Lviv", Lviv National Men's Choir "Dudaryk", etc.
He has been actively performing in Ukraine and abroad. He has participated in many international music festivals.
