In 1905, he graduated from the State Gymnasium with Ukrainian as the language of instruction in Przemysl.[1] From 1931, he worked as an advisor to the tax government in Ternopil, while also directing the choir of the Boyan Society (1931-1938).
1940-1941 - choirmaster of the Ternopil Drama Theater, inspector of the Ternopil Regional Department of Culture.
With his choirs, he participated in concerts in memory of Taras Shevchenko and Ivan Franko, and in festivals of Ukrainian song.
After the Second World War, he worked in Poland.
He is the author of works for choirs and arrangements of Ukrainian folk songs.
