Beregovyi Oles

Ricardo Alejandro Beregovyi, in Ukraine known as Oles (Oleksandr) Beregovyi (Spanish: Ricardo Alejandro Beregovoy; born 24 November 1964, Buenos Aires, Argentina) is an Argentine musician, bandura virtuoso, and bandura maker. He is an ethnic Ukrainian.

He is the artistic director of the Taras Shevchenko Bandura Chapel of the Ukrainian Cultural Association Prosvita in Argentina. A student of bandura player Vasyl Kachurak.
Oles Berehovoi was born in 1964 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Oles's father, Mytrofan Berehovyi, was born in the village of Kapitanivka, Kirovohrad region.

The future bandura player received his education at a secondary technical school in Buenos Aires. In 2004, he graduated from the Conservatory.

The musician's repertoire is dominated by works by classical and contemporary composers, as well as kobza melodies.

Since 2001, he has visited Ukraine many times. He has performed in Kyiv, Lviv, and Kolomyia.
