Baryshovets Yuriy Mykolayovych

Baryshovets Yurii Mykolaiovych (born 22 September 1965, Zbarazh, Ternopil region, now Ukraine) is a Ukrainian musician, a representative of the kobza repertoire on the kobza of Ostap Veresai. Member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine (NUCU). Laureate of the All-Ukrainian review of folk art (Ternopil, 1999), diploma winner of the International Festival of Ukrainian Folklore (Ternopil, 2000).

He graduated from the Solomiya Krushelnytska Ternopil Music College (piano class), Ivano-Frankivsk Pedagogical Institute (now Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University).

A student of Volodymyr Kushpet (1989). Participant in festivals of contemporary song and popular music, kobza congresses.
