Baklan Oleksii Fedorovych (* 25 May 1961, Kyiv) is a Ukrainian conductor. Honoured Artist of Ukraine (2001), People's Artist of Ukraine (2009).
He comes from the family of soloists of the Kyiv Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Ukrainian SSR Varvara Potapova and Fyodor Baklan. Graduated from the Kyiv Conservatory (1987), class of symphony conducting under S. Turchak. Diploma winner of the First International S. Lyfar Ballet Competition (Kyiv, 1994).
Since 1987 he has been conductor of the National Opera of Ukraine: ballet performances of A. Adan's Giselle, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty by P.
