Biography.

Myroslav Babchuk was born on August 26, 1962, in the village of Deliatyn, Nadvirna district, Ivano-Frankivsk region, now Ukraine.
He graduated from the Rivne Institute of Culture (now the Humanities University).
Since 1988, he has been the director of the folk music ensemble "Vizerunok" (folk group "Veseli Halychany") of the Ternopil Regional Philharmonic. Together with the ensemble, he has participated in international competitions and festivals in Canada, the USA, France, Germany, Great Britain, Poland, and other countries.
He plays the sopilka, nai, hutsul rib, dvidentsivka, okarina, telynka, frilka, trembita.

1st prize of the All-Ukrainian Artistic Variety Competition (Uzhhorod, 1990).
