Marian Altenberg (also known as Marian Altenberg, 16 August 1907, Lviv - 29 May 1943, Warsaw) was a Ukrainian Jewish conductor and pianist; he was the conductor of the Lviv Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Lviv Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
He graduated from the Lviv Conservatory with a degree in piano and studied conducting in Berlin.
He began his career as a soloist and accompanist on the radio, and later became a concertmaster at the Lviv Opera and Ballet Theatre. He was a conductor of the workers' choir and symphony concerts of the Lviv Philharmonic. In 1939-1941, he was the conductor of the Lviv Opera and Ballet Theatre.
He was executed by the Nazis on 29 May 1943 in Warsaw.
